Stradey Staff strut
their stuff for Cancer Reseach
Cancer Research, Llanelli Celebrated 50 fundraising years this month with a 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
Our staff here at the Stradey modeled some Barbour clothing (courtesy of 'The Welsh Farmhouse Company') and strutted down the catwalk like pros!
"We are really thrilled with how Sunday went. The atmosphere was really great and happy. Rev Eldon Phillips dressed up as the 'Mad Hatter' and was a fantastic MC. Prince Nadin came and performed magic at each table and that too went down well. The majority of people wore hats and some had even made theirs from start to finish which must have been a terrific amount of work! The display showing about 25 years of what the committee has done looked very good in the gallery and gave people a chance to look at what we've got up to! It mainly revolves around food and drink!" Jane Howarth Chairman, Llanelli Cancer Research UK
The event helped raise an amazing £2500 for the charity so we would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came along to support.
